Introduction

These online modules can be done individually as stand-alone modules to deepen your understanding (and/or earn CPD points) or in their entirety as part of Stage 4 on the UKCP hypno-psychotherapeutic counsellor or hypno-psychotherapist pathways.

The hypno-psychotherapist pathway requires all five and the hypno-psychotherapeutic counsellor pathway requires four (omitting Research for Therapists in Practice).

How Our Online Courses Work

Benefits of Our Online Courses:

  • Combining the freedom to choose when and how you study with an informal structure so however you are best motivated, the system will work for you
  • Avoiding the costs of travel and accommodation
  • Our online classrooms provide an opportunity for collaborative learning, unlike traditional distance learning courses which can be solitary undertakings

There are Four Distinct Parts to These Courses:

  1. Weekly webpages with the course content
  2. Weekly chatroom sessions (usually 1 p.m. UK time on each Wednesday of the course). Your input to the chatroom will be assessed but this is chat so there is no need to be formal
  3. The forum. You will find topics throughout the course content to discuss with your fellow students and tutor(s) on the forum. Debate is welcomed here and as with the chatroom, formality is not required
  4. Written assessment. You will find a link on each weekly page to your assessment page and we advise you to start this assessment process early so that any issues or queries can be discussed with your fellow students via the forum
